Mary was just the ticket for us! We renovated (basically rebuilt) our our house in 2025 and while the architects did a fabulous and gorgeous job, we didn't include interior design as part of the reno. So while everything was very pretty, it was still a bit plain. Enter Mary and Prince George Street Design. She listened to what areas we wanted to decorate and made beautiful suggestions for everything. The best part of working with Mary was by far her flexibility and understanding...she was very interested in finding alternatives that meet the best interests of her client more than 'selling' something to us. Highly recommend!

We recently had an exceptional experience working with Mary Bannon and her firm, Prince George Street Design. While we knew that she had great aesthetic style, we were awed by the diversity of her creativity. Our whole home project demanded many different applications, and whether it was a cozy and comfortable bedroom, a welcoming family room or a masculine library, she rose to every challenge. She also was respectful of our budget and delivered a great mix of value and elegance. Our home is in Connecticut and she is based in Maryland but it felt like she was on site the whole time!
Mary faced some unique design challenges with our new post and beam home - lots of wood and beams everywhere! She achieved the perfect balance, selecting pieces that felt modern yet fit with the house style. Mary made a fantastic suggestion of moving a doorway which greatly improved the flow and use of space in the main room. She listened to our likes and needs and was relentless in her search for just the right pieces. After we installed our pool, Mary helped bring our backyard to life. She assisted us in ordering and purchasing the perfect furniture, going above and beyond to find the right pieces that complemented the space. The journey to find the perfect table to go between our four chairs was a challenge— Mary never gave up and eventually found the ideal table that ties everything together beautifully.Mary’s eye for detail didn't stop there. She was instrumental in selecting the perfect coral accent tables for our chaise lounges and a navy blue striped umbrella. I was initially unsure about the umbrella choice, but Mary’s vision was spot on, and now I absolutely love it. Her dedication, patience, and impeccable taste made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
